Pilates can be of incredible benefit to patients following surgery. At a time when your body is recovering and vulnerable, tailed pilates exercises can help reduce pain, swelling, and stiffness. Later, our session can help you regain strength, mobility and function.
Surgery is a serious event. Not only can recovery be painful and frustrating, in most cases you’ll also have experienced pain and a loss of mobility or function leading up to the surgery. You may have fears or mental blocks with certain movements.
Our instructors tailor our sessions to your personal needs and the specific surgical procedure, helping you move safely and sustainably towards your desired post-surgery lifestyle. Whether it’s just being able to perform daily tasks independently or getting back into competitive sport, we encourage you to regain the abilities and confidence you need.
