Treatment Methods

  • Acupuncture: involves the insertion of ultra thin, sterile needles into carefully selected acupoints along your meridians (the channels your qi flows through).
  • Moxing: involves burning a dried herb stick (moxa) to warm the acupoints. It can be used either alongside acupuncture needles or on the acupoint itself.
  • Chinese Herbal Treatments: includes single herbs or combinations of herbs. Treatments are given as raw herbs, often to be boiled and consumed as tea or decoction, pre-made formulas in powder, pill or capsule form, or topical forms such as creams, ointments or poultices.
  • Cupping: art of using carefully placed glass cups and heat to create a suction, lifting the skin and superficial muscle layer.
